Is your Hard Disks are getting full and your Windows XP annoying you with the Low Disk Space Warning message at the Taskbar ?? The best way to remove this message is by deleting some unwanted files in the disk. But if you don’t want to delete any data and still don’t want to see this annoying Low Disk Space Warning message means then you have to do some Registry Hacking to remove it. Ok, lets see how to do it,..

  1. Start > Run > type ‘ Regedit ‘ and hit Enter to open the Registry Editor.
  2. Navigate through this path ‘ HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer ‘ on the left pane of the Registry Editor
  3. Create a new key ( DWORD Value ) in the right pane with the following details :

Name: NoLowDiskSpaceChecks

Data Type: REG_DWORD

Value:1 (Hexadecimal)

Now, Log Off and Login Again or Restart your Windows XP Computer to remove the Annoying Windows XP Low Disk Space Warning message from the Windows XP Taskbar !
