Most of us will like to rename the ‘ Start ‘ text found on the Windows XP Start Menu, but how many of us thought to save time by making Windows XP Start Menu to Display the System Time ???

If you are the one, then here is a simple guide.

  • Double click on the StartClock file.
  • Immediately your Windows XP Start Menu will start to show the current system time and a window will be shown like below.

  • In this window you could adjust some setting like 24 Hour Clock or 12 Hour Clock which you want to displayed in the Start Menu and more options are to choose from…
  • If you want to terminate the Application and want to restore the Start Menu to Windows Default ( with the word ‘Start’ ) just press the shortcut key ‘ Ctrl + Alt + X

Now, you could save your precious time by displaying it on the Windows XP Start Menu itself !
